By Matt Dickstein
I have been practicing business and
corporations law since 1994. Along the way, I have worked with
such firms as Graham & James and Wilson Sonsini. I opened
my own law firm in 2001. I graduated from Temple University
School of Law in 1995 in the top 5% of my class.
Among other activities, I am a member of the
Fremont Economic Development Advisory Commission, which
advises the Mayor and City Council of Fremont. I serve on the Board of
Directors of the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and as Chair of
its Green Committee. I also serve on the
Executive Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association's
Business Section. I am a former Chair of the
Fremont Biotech Forum, former member of the Fremont Green
Task Force, and a former director of the Fremont Symphony Orchestra.
I run a real estate investment fund,
Magnolia Foreclosures, with a partner. We purchase
properties in foreclosure.
I am married with two daughters and one son. My hobbies include jazz and classical music,
gardening and history. I am a native of Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, but now call Fremont, California my home.
